The key to success in sales

I met a remarkable man today. Craig Stubing is a genuine sales consultant, not a sales person with ‘consultant’ on his card to make him sound more important. Craig consults to a variety of small businesses to help them out at the really pointy end of their marketing; their sales processes.
Craig reminds me of the True Gentlemen you read about in Agatha Christie novels. He offers a fabulous motto: Selling is about the truth well told. He says one of the keys to success in sales is taking time to find out the customer’s needs. The good sales person then looks to fulfil those needs with a genuine solution.
